7.12 - What a busy week! In between all our rehearsals for nativity and assembly, we have been learning about habitats. We found out about what different animals do to survive in their habitats.

29.11 - What a fun afternoon we had outside searching for living things, dead things and things that have never been alive!

23.11 - Hawks have been writing their own version of the story 'The Way Back Home' and can't wait to share some of them in their parent assembly soon!

16.11 - We have begun learning all about coding. We had fun creating our own 'algorithms' using bee-bots and a game on the computer using the website 'tynker'. We also had a lovely day for Children in Need and decorated our own yummy biscuits.

9.11 - We had some new visitors in the class today. They enjoyed their first day in Hawks class 🤗

2.11 - What a great first week back full of Science! We’ve been learning about what plants need to grow and naming some garden plants. What flowers do you have in your garden?

Next term, we will be continuing learning about plants and we will begin to look at living things and their habitats. If any of Hawks children want to do any research on habitats before the start of term, Miss Mills would love to see it next Tuesday. Have a lovely half term! frown

Wow! Where has that term gone? This week involved information texts about how chocolate is made, learning about the different parts and functions of plants and we discussed how we are all unique and special. Here are some of the children’s masks showing their unique and valued personalities.
