Skara Brae is one of the best preserved Neolithic settlements anywhere in Western Europe – which makes it a super-special find for archeologists. The amazing artefacts discovered at this incredible site give us an insight into what life was like in Britain during that time.

BE THE BEST FRIDAYS
Be the best Fridays are still happening!! In Buzzards, our theme is learning about Japanese Life and beginning to learn the Japanese language.
We have been learning:
Hello
Goodbye
Thank you
Yes
No
Numbers 1-10
I have been impressed with the children as they are learning this alongside French as well. It has been great listening to a bit of Japanese as I speak to the pupils.
Here they are practising Yes No by answering English questions in Japanese. We also had to compliment our partners and the partners had to say 'Thank You' in Japanese after each compliment.

The pupils did a really good job and I was hugely impressed. After that is completed, they will go on to produce their own artwork that will go on display.
