    Autumn

22/09/21 - Our English unit for the last few weeks has been based on the poem ‘The River’ by Valerie Bloom 🏞

20/09/21 - Last week we were visited by PCSO Amy and PCSO Jo, who delivered an informative session about keeping ourselves safe and how to respond to others. They will be visiting us throughout the year to deliver some PSHE lessons in the context of the real-world 👮‍♀️

17/09/21 - A busy but brilliant week - marvellous maths (we are just finishing off our place value unit in Y6), a little Science experiment to introduce our topic, a cross country event with Atlas Sports and lots more! 🤩

14/09/21 - Year 6 have been demonstrating their skills as marvellous mathematicians with their Place Value work. Proud teacher alert!

10/09/21 - Owls have settled in brilliantly to new routines and the new academic year. I am so proud of them all! ⭐️ This week, we started our new class book ‘The Indian In The Cupboard’ and redesigned our own front covers, based on the contextual clues so far! We have also worked hard in Maths on the topic of place value, and in Geography, we began our unit by learning about the composition of the Earth 🌍
