    5.11.19 We are investigating the pitch of sound in Science and are in the process of making our own Viking musical instruments. More pictures to follow when we have finished!

    In English this term, we are reading Arthur and the Golden Rope by Joe Todd-Stanton. We are doing lots of excellent drama and written work based on this fantastic graphic novel.

    20.09.2019 - Our elections for School Council and Eco Monitors were held this week. We had many candidates who spoke confidently about the skills they could bring to the position. Here are our proud candidates!

    9.9.19 List Poems

    In English, we are reading and writing list poems. We began by reading 'Ten Things Found in a Wizard's Pocket' by Ian McMillan. We then wrote our own group poems inspired by this. Ideas included things found in the pocket's of Father Christmas', an explorer and an old lady!

    Invasion!

     

    Our topic this term is 'Invasion' and we will be learning lots about the Vikings.

     

    Some questions we will be focusing on will be:

    Where did the Vikings come from?

    What made the Vikings so successful?

    What made the Viking Longship a good mode of transport?
