After that, we looked the TERRA NOVA Expedition led by Captain Scott. They journeyed to Antarctica to try and reach the South Pole AGAIN.
Scott pushed his men hard to get to the Pole. Unfortunately, his team was beat by another explorer - Roald Amundsen.
Roald managed to find a route to the South Pole that shaved a month off their timings - hence they were able to beat Scott.
Disappointed, Scott's team of five men died on the return journey.
