This week in English the children have been looking at poetry inspired by the circus. They have created their own list poems, which were amazing! 😁 Then today, they had the chance to perform part of a circus poem, to the class!
I've really enjoyed my first week with Buzzards, and I look forward to many more 😊

GETTING TO KNOW OUR NEW TOPIC
I purposely didn't dress the classroom at the start of term so that the pupils didn't know what what our topic was.
On Monday, pupils had to solve some clues to find WHAT our topic is.
Eventually, after a lots of clues, two pupils solved it. Yay!
We watched some circus videos to get us inspired and to know what a circus is like. Some pupils hadn't been to a circus before so I hoped this helped!
Coincidentally, one pupil had brought in a signed TWEEDY photo that they had over Christmas. It was great that it linked to the class.
Pupils LOVED looking at this!
