01.07.19 Today we went on a mini-beast hunt to start of our non-fiction work in English and gain ideas for designing our mini-beast homes in DT and as part of our classification work in Science.
28.06.19 We enjoyed a Holi dance workshop and learned to dance Bollywood style.
27.06.19 This week we enjoyed observing and holding the froglets and butterflies and then we set them all free. The children are hoping they spot them at playtimes next week.

04.06.19 We had a very busy morning following reading 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. We wrote lists of the foods he ate, made playdough representations of a life cycle and we painted butterflies and caterpillars on tin foil.
14.05.19 We measured the sunflower seedlings today. Some children counted in 10s to find out how many millimetres they were as well as centimetres.

29.04.19 In science we went for a walk and identified different plants around the school.
This term our topic is 'Watch it Grow!' Today we enjoyed learning the parts of a flower and then painting flowers and gardens outside in the sunshine.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday 19th April. Term starts for all pupils on the 19th.
