Hope
by Honey
Hope is what sings inside
And perches deep down
But it will never leave
Even at the darkest of times
Especially when you need it the most
HOPE
by Jasmine
In distant years to come we will remember this as the time
We weren’t allowed out
To see our best friends or even to shout
It feels like the entire world is calmly dormant like a volcano
Sleeping
Waiting
Fewer smelly cars on the roads
Pungent fumes missing from the air
After a week the world seamed brighter
Several later it seems like the world has been put on hold
Silent
Empty
But hope is still alive
People are still out there
Video calling our lovely friends and amazing family
Seeing people on walks
Loudly Clapping for NHS workers
Torch communicating with neighbours and strangers
Cheering
Listening
Everyone doing their bit to help out
The whole world is showing its immense gratitude
Things are looking better for all of us.
