At Thrupp, we had a SURPRISE visitor come and join us…
It was a WINSTONES Ice Cream Van!
What a perfect way to spend our last Monday.

BIRDS OF PREY
Our wonderful PTA organised a fantastic treat for the pupils today!
First, we saw a HARRIS HAWK.
Next, we saw a SAKER FALCON.
After that, we saw a PEREGRINE FALCON.
Finally, we saw and held a AFRICAN GRASS OWL.

FOREST SCHOOL
Pupils had an amazing time at Forest School!
There first activity was to lead a blindfolded partner to base camp. This needed a lot of communication. Luckily, we all made it!
After that, we undertook a range of play and discovery.

GREEK COOKING
Pupils worked in groups following this Greek recipe:
First, we followed the recipe.
Next, we made the cigars.
After that, we cooked them.
Finally, we took home our food home!

1. Pupils used repeat instructions to make 2D shapes.
2. Pupils used a background to navigate the turtle around.

MATHS - TIME
In Maths, we have been looking at the days in a year and a leap year. We also used the knuckle method to find the days in each months.

MATHS' DAY
Pupils celebrated Maths Day by coming dressed up in Maths clothes.
We then had a go at CRACKING CODES to find out about PENGUINS:
After that, we played a Maths version on Monopoly - MATHOPOLY.
The children loved it!

In Buzzards, we have been using LOGO and pupils have been really enjoying their experiences! Again, the personal chromebooks has allowed an enriched experience for each child.

In Buzzards, we have been trying to becomes PROs at using INVERTED COMMAS to punctuate speech.
In our last lesson, pupils had to create a conversation between superheroes using perfect speech!
