We used Euro 2021 as our inspiration and had a football themed day.  We did some writing, craft made football stadiums with blocks and played with marbles and orbees.  The children loved starting their day practising their football playing skills - we think we have some future England hopefuls!

    Friday 9th July

Kestrels Class had a visit from Luke and some of his feathered friends. The children had lots of questions and their knowledge was fantastic. They were particularly taken with the owls as we have read stories about Albert and Olive, the barn owls, and how their calls found each other!

5th July Inside Our Wonderful Bodies!

28.06.21 On Monday morning we watched a butterfly come out of it's chrysalis and by Tuesday we had 3 butterflies. We wonder if the last 2 will also 'hatch' butterflies!

24th June - we investigated which things in the outside area are magnetic.

22nd June We are watching to see if they wiggle!

21st June Now we have Chrysalides!

14th & 15th June - We made butterfly sun-catchers, which we have stuck on the window and are now enjoying beautiful colours across the classroom.

11th June - our class caterpillars arrived today! We will watch them grow and change over the next few weeks.
