19.7 - We have enjoyed doing our own Punch and Judy shows this week. We made our own puppets and created our own storyboards to perform in pairs.
12.7 - What a lovely day we had 'beside the seaside' yesterday - The children were amazing and really enjoyed the museum, fish and chips, icecream and making sand castles.
03.07 - Hawks class wowed the audience at Wycliffe theatre today performing their street dance performance. They were super stars!
25.06 - This week we’ve become weather forecasters and are writing our own news and weather reports.
We also enjoyed a wonderful Holi celebration on Friday where we learnt some Bollywood dancing.
21.6 - What a fun theme week we had! One of our favourite parts was our trip to Cranham and building our own micro habitats.
13.6 - We've been learning about rhythm and the song 'A sailor went to sea, sea, sea'.
We also used our map skills to find out about St Ives...
And we had great fun at sports day on Monday!
07.06 - What a lovely first week we've had! We've been working really hard on our topic 'Beside the seaside'. We learnt about what the seaside was like in the past, how to draw some sea creatures and we also wrote some of our own seaside poems.
23.05 - This week the quiet critters have made an appearance again, because we've been working super hard on our Seaside leaflets. We can't wait to share them in our workshare assembly tomorrow.
10.05 - Hawks class are enjoying their topic so much already. We’ve talked about what you can do at the seaside, what you can eat and how to stay safe. We also spent some time retelling the Christian parable of the two builders - we could decide what materials to use to retell the story.
03.05 - This week, we drew our own beaches with labels of what you can find on the beach in the present day. Our Y1s also had lots of fun with water when they were investigating capacity.
26.04 - What a fun first week back! We had our first street dance session, guessed our topic by looking at photos and came up with our own questions about our new topic. (We also got the chance to meet Miss Mills’ puppies!)
