Bonjour!
This is very exciting!
Here is a link to the first French lesson video...
https://vimeo.com/498935731 If you are asked for a password to view, it is: thrupp
After you have watched the video, I suggest you do the following:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJ03KjwiIVM It's called 'j'aime les fruits' by Alain le Lait.
Here is a short YouTube clip which helps you learn the fruit in French.. at the end you have to point to the right fruit.

Here's one for the gamers amongst you... a game where if you hit the white blocks you have to guess the fruit. I was planning on starting a leader board... turns out I am good at the French bit but rubbish at the game!; my score was 738 points in 72.59 seconds before I died. If you can do better than me, send in your scores and let me know. In the meantime, I will keep practicing!

I have attached a homemade 'Jeu des Fruits' (Game of Fruits), where I have photographed some fruits and then taken one (or more) away. You have to guess which one is missing (in French obviously!).
Finally... there is the task sheet. It has the vocab from the lesson on it, and then the tasks for each class. Being the youngest, Buzzards have the most basic tasks and work for Eagles and Owls is an extension from there. If you are feeling confident and/or brave please do carry on... you can only get bonus points for enthusiasm and effort!
And as a final finally, I have just found a link to a Peppa Pig about 'La Fête des Fruits' - listen carefully and see if there are any words you can understand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro0H7_Ywwwo
Amusez-vous bien. (Have fun!)
Mme Kelly
