    Autumn

17th November - What a busy week! We continued our history topic looking at artefacts, including a real shuttle from a loom. A group of children worked together to make a mill complete with a water wheel and another group weave using the railings as the warp and coloured strips of fabric as the weft.

Learning about the wool trade. The children had the chance to have a go at carding, spinning and weaving. They really enjoyed the experience and learned lots of new vocabulary!

Have a lovely Summer. Term starts for Year 1 - 6 on Tuesday 2nd September 2025. Reception children will start on Wednesday 3rd September. Have lots of fun.
