I would like to welcome you to Thrupp Primary School, I am very proud to be Headteacher of this school. Thrupp is a happy school where children are inspired to achieve the best that they can. Our motto: "Doing Our Best To Be Our Best" is paramount to us.

We have a hard working, dedicated team of staff and Governors where our common goal is to provide the best for all of our children. We want our children to reach their full potential and lead physically and mentally rewarding lives. We encourage this through providing a creative, broad and balanced curriculum that engages and inspires children and maximises and nurtures strengths. We work with the children to become reflective, self aware and resilient, aware of what they must do to succeed and achieve and to progress beyond their own previous best.

I passionately believe that children should feel safe and respected within school and confident to take risks. We encourage and nurture these attributes by developing our 'Learning Powers' within the school community: Resilient, Relate, Aspire, Curious, Reflect.

Education is about life long learning, building relationships and enjoyment. We at Thrupp endeavour to provide these opportunities for our children and help them to become confident and comfortable with their own minds and bodies.

We aim to work in close partnership with parents and the local community to ensure that our children are successful and happy within school. We want to prepare all children to leave primary school as responsible, confident, young citizens.
