Our Intent:
To instil in our children a curiosity and understanding of events, places and people in a variety of times and environments.
To encourage reflection on how the lives of others in the past have influenced their lives today and why there may be different interpretations of the same event.
To develop opportunities to relate to the lifestyles, choices and experiences of those living in the past on a human basis.
To build resilience in all our pupils' learning and for them to aspire to be a critically thinking, enquiring historian.
