Autumn Term 1 and Term 2

Our topic this term is The Vikings!

Our key question in History is Were the Vikings raiders or settlers? We will be finding out lots about the Viking invasion of Britain and if the Vikings really deserve their bad reputation!

Festive baking - thanks to the PTA for this fantastic treat!

In Geography, we have been learning about the changes in a river’s course from mouth to source.

On Wednesday 11th October, Years 4,5 and 6 visited the Cheltenham Literature Festival. Year 4 and 5 watched a fantastic performance from poet Joseph Seigal.

In English, we are using the book Arthur and the Golden Rope to inspire our writing. Today we did some role play to explore how the villagers felt before, during and after the attack by the giant wolf Fenrir. Can you work out from our expressions which part of the story it is?
