Our Intent:
We intend to prepare the children at Thrupp to be confident and capable within a world that is increasingly shaped by technology. We believe it is paramount that children develop the knowledge and understanding to enable them to use computing skills in everyday life, whilst in education and beyond.
We aim to develop aspirational and resilient learners who are fluent in their understanding of computer science by teaching them how to use a range of programs where they are able to design, create and reflect upon their work.
At Thrupp, we ensure our children are aware of the importance of internet safety, with it being a key focus in each year group across the terms. Due to this, our children have a great knowledge and understanding of how to stay safe online.
Our aim is for our children to leave our school with a developing digital literacy and an excellent knowledge of e-safety; preparing them for their future in our modern society.
