Our topic this term is ‘Where shall we go?’.
We will becoming ‘historians’ and travelling back in time to learn about how people in the past travelled; learning about some of the incredible inventions that have changed our daily lives. In Geography, we will be learning about the four countries in the United Kingdom and will ‘travel’ to Australia to make comparisons between Sydney and our local area.
We have begun our History learning through a play project. We got on our 'time machines' and travelled back in time to the Viking era. We learnt about Viking longships and how they helped people travel longer distances across seas. We learnt about how they had scary figureheads and red sails to scare away their enemies. Look at our wonderful creations!
