Week 1 and 2:
We've had a wonderful start to the term. It has been lovely getting to know new faces and seeing some familiar faces too! We've been exploring our new classroom and learning where all the resources are. The Reception children also met their Y6 buddies, which they loved!
We have begun our topic:
We are magic!
We will be learning lots about the local area and what makes Gloucestershire special. We will begin learning about what ‘history’ is - we will be thinking about our own lives and will be naming key events that have happened and considering events that may happen in the future. In addition to thinking about our own lives, we will look at some magical people from the past and considering how they have helped us have better lives.
