Greece is the most southern country in Europe
Mount Olympus is Greece's highest mountain at 9,570 feet (2,917 meters) above sea level.
The Pindus mountain range on the mainland contains one of the world's deepest gorges, Vikos Gorge, which plunges 3,600 feet (1,100 meters).
Tourism is a major contributor to the economy in Greece.
Recent flooding and wildfires have affected local people and the tourist economy in Greece.
